This a Simple system to allow quick
reference to tire types and prices.
The Quick Find feature allows you to show records with one click on any
(or all) of the following:
Manufacturer,
Size,
Type,
Misc. Code
Minimum TreadWare rating (UTQG - Uniform Tire Quality Grading element #1)
Minimum Traction rating (UTQG - Uniform Tire Quality
Grading element #2)
Minimum Temperature rating (UTQG - Uniform Tire Quality Grading element #3)
Minimum Load rating
Minimum Speed rating
Maximum List price desired

Three pricing levels are displayed (List, Sale and Dealer), as well as Cost.
Use hotkey to toggle Read-Only status On/Off (keeps some users from changing data).
Use hotkey to toggle Display of Cost column On/Off.
Use hotkey to toggle Display of Dealer Cost column On/Off.
Use hotkey to toggle Display of both Cost & Dealer Cost column On/Off.
Easily change prices by 1. selecting tires, 2. selecting a percentage
increase/decrease, and 3. selecting the price to change, List, Sale, Dealer, or all three.
Simple report displays %markup for each List, Dealer and Sale price.
It appears for each tire type, totals for each manufacturer, and grand totals.
User modifiable files for screen "picklists" values for
TreadWare, Traction, Temperature, Load, and Speed ratings when they change, or not carried
by dealer.

Customization – Company name on screen
To display company name on screen: Create a
text file call SETUPBBCONAME, containing company name.
Customize – standard picklists
These "picklist" values do not
change very often, but they come from files that are modifiable, such as:
treadwear.txt,
loadrate.txt,
temperature.txt,
traction.txt,
speedratings.txt.
Customize – optional picklists
Optionally, under the menu Display/Options, you can elect to use "picklists" to
enter some values, such as manufacturer. This can make data entry easier and less prone to
errors (instead of typing Goodyear each time). You can create picklists for manufacturer,
type, size and misc1. These are the filenames:
mfg.txt (see sample file included),
type.txt,
size.txt,
misc1.txt
Customize - Hotkeys
The text file SETUPBBHOTKEYS contains EDITABLE key
stroke values for your hot keys. The default values are:
F2 toggles READ-ONLY status on/off
F7 toggles display of DEALER column on/off
F8 toggles display of COSTS column on/off
F9 toggles display of BOTH DEALER and COST columns on/off
